As usual with Disney, the Studio asked for 6 samples to be made for product approval.
Only 6 were completed (replica, display stand & numbered plaque, paperwork, box & foam), no more.
The following picture is a concept advertisement for the Sentry pistol replica, with some Disney's hand-written corrections.

ReplyDelete6 were made according to an ex-Disney archivist who also worked at Icons. So any after those are bootlegs not made at Icons I am afraid. A great piece Fred. Thanks for sharing. And amazing to see the original, unseen concept for the ad.
ReplyDeleteThe information is right there is only 6 and i got mine from a very close friend to a guy who used to work at icons, thats all i know, mine is #5 is in pristine condition, box,coa.
