10 of these Batarangs were made. Only 1 had the Batcave case (see photos). 9 were stolen in 2000 at Timeless. They were painted by Dave Heilman....a very special color : luminescent black !!!

This blog which shows my personal collection, is dedicated to all the artists who worked at Icons and created, for the first time ever, some really marvellous licensed and authenticated movie prop replicas. Their work still remains one of the best as todays standards. Don't forget that we are talking about things made 27 years ago !!!
